The unexpected second season of Good Omens—Prime Video’s adaptation of the book by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett—arrives in just under two months, which means it’s time for the teasers and hints to start appearing. And what a treat this one is: The full title sequence for the new season, which is our first real hint at what the story might be about.
A special gift, because you all have been oh so patient with us. 😇😈 #GoodOmens #Crowley #Aziraphale pic.twitter.com/MCxhYAhZ61

To tell you the truth, I have no idea what it means. There’s a whole lot of people strolling through uncomfortable-looking landscapes—hell and the apocalypse, for two—in the wake of Crowley (David Tennant) and Aziraphale (Michael Sheen)? The official synopsis just says:
Season Two of Good Omens explores storylines that go beyond the original source material to illuminate the uncanny friendship between Aziraphale, a fussy angel and rare book dealer, and the fast-living demon Crowley. Having been on Earth since The Beginning, and with the Apocalypse thwarted, Aziraphale and Crowley are getting back to easy living amongst mortals in London’s Soho when an unexpected messenger presents a surprising mystery.
Polygon revealed the new title sequence, saying “Peter Anderson, the creative director at Peter Anderson Studio, the team behind the title sequences for both seasons of the show, says that the cinema scene will change from week-to-week to keep up with the new episodes. His favorite little detail, though, involves the scenes in hell.”
My favorite little detail in this quote is the “week-to-week” bit, which suggests this season might be released weekly instead of in one big dump. But that’s just a theory; only Amazon knows for sure. (And maybe Gaiman and his co-showrunner Douglas Mackinnon.)
Good Omens 2 arrives, in full or part, on Prime Video on July 28th.
